Here is how to interpret the results:
- If both the C line and the T line appear, it indicates a positive result for COVID-19 infection.
- If only the C line appears, it indicates a negative result for COVID-19 infection.
- If only the T line appears, it indicates a testing error.
- If no lines appear, it indicates a testing error. If the result is positive (no lines), notify the nearest healthcare facility, self-isolate, and retest in 3-5 days. If the result is negative (only the C line appears), retest.
Nasal Testing Procedure:
- Wash hands thoroughly. Twist off the extraction solution cap, open the extraction solution tube, and dispense the extraction solution completely.
- Insert the nasal swab into the nostril, rotate 3-4 times, and hold it for 5-10 seconds.
- Place the nasal swab into the test tube containing the testing solution and rotate approximately 5 times.
- Drop the solution into the well, approximately 2-3 drops.
- Wait for 15 minutes to read the result, but not exceeding 30 minutes.
Saliva Testing Procedure:
- Wash hands thoroughly. Twist off the extraction solution cap, open the extraction solution tube, and dispense the extraction solution completely.
- Cough deeply from the throat into a paper cup, approximately 2 cc.
- Use the dropper to collect saliva into the extraction solution tube, shake well to mix.
- Drop the solution into the well, approximately 2-3 drops.
- Wait for 15 minutes to read the result, but not exceeding 30 minutes.
